PPS43 Parts kits
I'm looking to get a kit and start a semi build.
I talked to a distributor of the kits and they told me that all of theirs have the hinge pin on the flolding stock cut with a torch. Is this standard demilling practice? I thought the only requirement was main component missing 1/2" of metal via 2 1/4" torch cuts. AKA: main component in 3 pieces. Was his importer overzealous? Is this a standard practice with these kits? Is a screwed up hinge pin worth $20 dollars savings? |
Re: PPS43 Parts kits
Because the folding stock on these made for a SBR the folding portion had to be disabled. I have a 43 from Military Gun Supply in a rifle form and it does have a functional folding stock but their pistol version have the pin and hinge welded in the folded position.
